I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping up with your site, amor, but it’s up and running now. I’m committing myself to updating it more frequently. I’m sure your mother will also be updating the site on a frequent basis. On another note here are some things you’ve done this past year…

I honestly cannot believe that you’re two- well, as of 5:06 pm you will be! Around this time, two years ago, you were in my tummy and the doctor was making me walk up and down the hall to speed things up. I remember everything as if it were yesterday. If I can go back and relive that moment, I would. It was such a beautiful and joyous day! To know that you, my love, are a product of papi and myself is amazingly unbelievable. You have brought so much joy to our lives and make the days brighter. You have gone through quite a bit in your young life and if, in the future, you ever doubt your strength, I want you to read this and know that you are one tough cookie and that papi and I love you so very much! And with that, amor, I leave you with a happy birthday!

I’m sorry to say, but I did indeed forget to put your site back up after some stuff went down on another host. Apparently people think it’s fun to go around the interwebs and steal data. I won’t lie.. I was guilty of it once but :p you didn’t hear that from me. On a more statistical side of your site — While the site was up we were ranking for some awesome keywords.. In other words — $$. While the site was down, well; the rankings went and shot through and your site doesn’t even rank for the keywords it use to. Let me tell you though I’m a boss and we’ll get this stuff on check yet again.

On another more relative note…

It’s a new year. Year 2011.. Where in just a few weeks you will be turning two years old. It’s quite exciting let me tell you. The thought that just a year ago we were prepping for your first birthday is more than nostalgic. Your birthday party this year will actually be at Pump it up. A pretty, from what it seems to be, awesome place that you apparently liked when we went to visit. Let me tell you though choosing the location/venue for your birthday was quite as difficult as it was for your first birthday due to the fact that you have a LARGE family on your mother’s side. No worries though, come February 8th you’re going to be jumping around and climbing a wall along with your family who loves you dearly.

You have grown a lot since the last posts. You are now extremely independent and love watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse along with Barney. It’s quite the cutest thing because even thought you’re not two yet you can count up to 10 in both English and Spanish. You can also sing part of Barney’s ‘I love you’ song. It’s the CUUUUTEST thing ever. Once your mother uploads the video it’ll be plastered on here for the longest of times. Let me tell you that this domain has been renewed 3 times now (3 years) and I don’t plan on stopping it.

On that note I think it’s time for me to cuddle with your mother.. It IS 4:58am and I was doing some coding for someone who needed a psd to xhtml.

It was a gloomy Saturday. We stayed in until we went to visit our relatives. I’m so glad to see that they are doing better. As always, you were welcomed with much excitement.

You’ve gotten into the habit of not napping throughout the day. So when we got home you were sound asleep! It amazes me the amount of energy that you have! I’m going to have to get into shape just to keep up with you.

There have been many things going on this week that you are too young to understand. I feel like we haven’t been with you much this week. We’ve been back and forth to and from the hospital to support our family. My uncle (yours as well) put up a fight to which, unfortunately, he lost. It’s such a tragedy that definitely hit home since my grandpa three years ago.

Baby I want you to know that we love you so much! We brought you to the hospital to bring some happiness to the family, and you did. They were all so happy to see you. You are the light of my eyes and bring happiness to my life. Keep being the cutest baby in the world. We love you!

As soon as he left, we hung out outside with papi. You didn’t want to come inside which made you very crabby. We knew you were tired but as always, you were fighting your sleep. After a long fight, you finally gave in. You’re currently napping on your little Mickey Mouse couch and you look so adorable and peaceful. Papa is getting some work done and I’m getting some rest. We love you little darling!

To start off, she’s now 18 months and definitely showing more personality. She is a silly little one and not a day goes by without her making us laugh. She’s going through physical therapy for the stiffness when she walks but she’s making progress.

We’re so proud of our munchkin and I’m excited to update on our daily experiences with her!

Would you look at the time?!?! It’s 6am– Unfortunately I can’t sleep and the simple answer to why I can’t sleep is because you’re not here.

I’m going to be blunt and honest with you; One day you’ll read this and there will be some answers on this site that you may seek. When that day comes you’ll be glad to read this.

For the time being some things will be different. I’m not sure how long they’ll be different or if they’ll ever go back to being normal, or at least what you think is normal.

Please know that there is one thing in the world that means the most to me and that thing is you. I’ve grown to love you since the first trimester you were in your mother’s belly and I will continue to love you til’ the day, well til’ the day I’m old and forget your name :p.

As you can tell.. You did quite a lot. You were also signed up at Gymboree for Thursday classes so that should be FUN! I’ll make a post within the day with more pictures of the cubs game. They gave you a “BAWLL” there that you loved. <3
